Zagat Stories features in-depth, intimate, personal interviews with chefs, restaurateurs, and others in the expanded universe of dining and hospitality. In video, photos, and text, these stories are told in the subject’s own words—letting you hear them as human beings rather than figureheads, celebrities, brands, or mysteries.
Though food and the restaurant business are part of Zagat Stories, news or gossip are not of particular interest. Stories more timeless than timely will be the focus – those which dive into lives, passions, fears, hopes, desires, ambitions, and dreams inside and outside the kitchen. Zagat Stories is all about what’s not on the plate.

The interviews and videos found on Zagat Stories are produced by Zagat’s editorial team. Zagat Stories does accept pitches, both from aspiring contributors, and from publicists or representatives of chefs or others who’d like to propose an interview. Please consult the contributors’ guidelines to see what kinds of pitches are a fit. After you’ve read the guidelines, pitches can be emailed to email@example.com. Please send only one pitch at a time, waiting for a response before sending more. Please do not add this email address to mailing lists for press releases. You can, however, add firstname.lastname@example.org to your publicity mailing lists, as the team will review releases in the proper context.
